How are your prints made?
Limited-edition prints are created with archival pigment inks on professional Epson Premium Luster Photo Paper. These prints are signed with the edition number in the white border below the image and include a certificate of authenticity.
Aluminum prints are created by infusing archival pigment inks into specially coated sheets of aluminum and sealing the image with a high-gloss finish. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, images take on a magical luminescence with vivid colors and tremendous detail. The scratch-resistant surface is waterproof and easy to clean, and these prints have the highest possible archival rating. Depending on the size, aluminum prints include a 1/2" float mount or 3/4" inset aluminum frame attached to the back, pushing the print away from the wall so it appears to float, and making it easy to hang. Aluminum prints are signed on the back with the edition number and include a certificate of authenticity.
Signatures shown on images are for copyright protection only and do not appear on printed images. Never hang prints in direct sunlight.
How close do prints match the images online?
We use calibrated monitors to provide accuracy between the images displayed online and our prints. Photo papers have different tonal ranges than monitors, and because most people do not have calibrated monitors, it's possible that prints will show colors slightly differently than those viewed online. This does NOT affect the quality of our images, which is exceptional.
How do I know my print is authentic?
Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity that is signed by Scott Setterberg and includes image details and materials used to create the print.
Who controls copyright of prints?
All rights are controlled by Scott Setterberg, who created the prints from his original transparencies, negatives, or digital files. Copyright law states that copyright is not transferred to the buyers of photographic prints.
What is an edition?
An edition is a limited number of prints made of a particular image. Scott Setterberg sets and honors all edition sizes, and once an edition is closed, it is closed forever.
What is an Artist Proof?
An artist proof, or AP, is a fixed number of extra prints created outside the limited-edition set. These prints are usually kept by the artist, but can also be sold, usually at higher prices than those prints in the limited edition.
How should I hang my prints?
Artwork should be hung at eye level, which means that the center point of the frame should be approximately 60” from the floor. When installing artwork over furniture, leave at least 10” between the bottom of the frame and the top of the furniture. Always avoid hanging framed prints in direct sunlight.
How should I care for framed and aluminum prints?
Limited edition prints should be framed with UV-protection glass or plexiglass. Plexiglass requires special care. Do NOT brush dust away with your hand or a dry cloth as this can damage plexiglass. Do NOT use products like Windex that contain ammonia with plexiglass or aluminum prints. Water and a clean, soft cloth works best, but you may also use a cleaner that is specially designed for acrylic. You can also make a solution of warm water and a little mild dish detergent. Dampen a soft cloth or sponge with your solution and wipe the plexiglass or aluminum clean. Gently dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. Always avoid hanging prints in direct sunlight.
How are prints shipped?
To prevent any damage during shipping, we carefully pack unframed prints between sheets of corrugated cardboard or foamcore. Large aluminum prints are shipped in wood crates. All packages are labeled with special handling instructions. Please see our Shipping Info for more details.

Please keep all original packaging and materials that arrived with the print, and note that it's the buyer's responsibility to file an insurance claim with the shipping company if a print is damaged.
